Vivienne Westwood Anglomania

Vivienne Westwood is certainly leading the charge with her lovely interpretations of the draped, ruched and asymmetrical trends. I'm simply captivated her "Friday" tops and dresses, which are the black belted and plaid tops and the white and plaid dresses. I'm actually more partial to the plaid.......especially the dress. The longer hem on the right is a fabulous touch. Each of those pieces appear as though they were culled from the pages of a '40's or '50's magazine.......I can envision Joan Crawford wearing them with her signature ankle wrap sandals. Another favorite is the striped dress; the fact that it's straight with a longer hemline, elongates the body, which is always a plus! Adding those vivid doses of color to her stunning creations, makes them all the more appealing!
