Accessories: Paris Spring 2015

Amazing pieces perfect for ushering in the spring season!

Desert style and architecture inspired Eddie Borgo for spring. Stones like pink quartz, cornelian and jasper in cylinders, rectangles and his signature pyramid shapes became bold, geometric pieces.

Christian Louboutin looked to the American Southwest, specifically Arizona, where the Hopi tribe known for its pottery and intricately woven rugs was the muse for this mule and sandal-heel style.

Shourouk, known for her love of plastic pailettes and rhinestones, expressed a fondness for flowers bedecking jewelry, jelly sandals and a new basket weave bag woven from rubber strands.

Gold never gets old at Herve Van Der Straettan. Here, from his new Mayan group, a collar necklace with strands made from a U-shape link and finished with jade beads falls nearly to the waist.
Tyler Alexandra offered her signature shapes in a variety of exotics, and added leather backpacks for the first time.

Delphine Delafon, known for her made-to-order, tricked-out pouches, is now in her second season of a commercially producible line with denim, printed and fringed versions of the sacks.

Ana Khouri expanded upon her classic ear cuffs to create these pearl earrings that cascade from the ear, and also went for a bolder look with this gold wraparound cuff.
This woven raffia wedge, right,  circa World War II, was pulled from the Robert Clergerie archives by creative director Roland Mouret to inspire a modern take on the vintage shoe.

Jerome Dreyfuss imagined a jaunt with Jim Morrison, Kurt Cobain and Amy Winehouse to an island — think Ibiza — filled with crafty homespun boho-style goods, like this tie-dye bag and suede moccasin.

Marion Vidal, known for her oversize, often ceramic necklaces, has scaled down and incorporated marble for this season’s pieces that resemble a city skyline.
Pierre Hardy is marking the 15th anniversary of his namesake line with this chunky block heel called the “Monolith” —  inspired by Stanley Kubrick’s “2001: A Space Odyssey.”

Swarovski creative director Nathalie Colin imagined a crystal garden for spring, with milky pastel stones and floral and dragonfly motifs as on these one-of-a-kind couture jeweled bib harnesses.

Oui, Oui!

As Fashion Week comes to a close, I've featured some of my favorite looks from Paris. There's so much to love!
