A Peek Inside Irish Designer JW Anderson's Hideaway

We took a trip to Irish designer JW Anderson’s East End hideaway to look at his punky autumn/winter 2010 collection. Anderson, who is known for his directional, British-made menswear, has finally indulged us with a ladies collection.

Billed as “saints or assassins with a cross-country paramilitary vibe”, we liked the washed silk blazers, blanket tartan coats and backpacks, and his cheeky letter rings. What’s not to L.O.V.E?

This is one of those interesting an obscure collections that beckons when you seek something beyond the norm. While I'm usually not a huge fan of plaid, I would certainly wear his pieces. I also favor those quirky "artistic-look" rings.....while this particular design is not at all a new concept, his are different in that they bear an almost, vintage/antique quality. Very nice.
