On The Street: Manhattan Vintage Show

Quirky was the key word — not to mention the key look — at last weekend’s Manhattan Vintage Show, held at the Metropolitan Pavilion in Chelsea. Many shoppers strayed toward the bizarre, but always in good sartorial fun. No one was afraid of color here either — if not on the clothes, then those bright patterns surfaced on hats, leggings and shoes. Yet among the whole devil-may-care approach to dressing was still a sporadic stripped-down look or two, sometimes even in basic black.
