Yes, Yes, Yes, The Daily Telegraph U.K. is at it again! Apparently not as bad as those which they labeled "no-nos," but I guess worthy of some added commentary. Though there are two or three who managed to escape the usual comments.
While I'm luke warm on a most, I disagree with their assessment of Reese Witherspoon, Nicole Kidman & Renee Zellweger....see what you think.
KELLY OSBOURNE IN TONY WARD COUTURESo busy, too fussy... Kelly-O's style is off-centre once again. |
KELLY ROWLAND IN DONNA KARANThere's something very conflicting about the direction Kelly's dress wants to take; this is what we'll call a sartorial crossroads. |
ZOE SALDANA IN ALEXIS MABILLEWe really want to love this gown, honestly, but the fussy bow-belt is a touch too much. |
JANE FONDA IN ATELIER VERSACEA real opinion divider of a design, we admire Fonda's embrace of bold colour, but we wish she'd left the waist-cinching detail on that cruise-liner... |
OLIVIA MUNN IN MARCHESAYes, this might be Marchesa, but we can't help feeling like this gown is an ill-advised throwback from some studio's costume department... |
REESE WITHERSPOON IN LOUIS VUITTONThis gown just doesn't flatter Witherspoon enough - OK, she's not long had a baby, but how about celebrating those new mother curves? |
CATHERINE ZETA JONES IN ZUHAIR MURADThere's no escaping the fact that the bottom tier of Catherine's dress makes us think of an ice-skater... |
NICOLE KIDMAN IN L'WREN SCOTTEmerging from the carpet like blazing-hot tarmac with a few old chandeliers thrown in for good measure, Kidman misses the mark once more. |
NAOMIE HARRIS in a Michael Badger gown made from recycled sources Harris really let us down in this old-fashioned mustard concoction. Should that be 'recycled sauces'? |
Helena Bonham Carter in Vivienne Westwood |
Halle Berry in Versace |
Renee Zellweger in Carolina Herrera |
