Color Struck

Top left: Old Navy crew neck (long sleeved) sweater; found on the clearance rack a couple of weeks ago. Aside from the color, I love the fact that it's very light weight; Top right: short sleeved tee from Rue 21; Bottom, left to right: braided bracelet and rhinestone bangle, Target, "jelly belts," Rue 21, and cord bracelet with green stone, Juicy Couture, T.J. Maxx.

Bisou Bisou skinny jeans from J.C. Penney; I shopped around for colored jeans for quite some time, and am so glad that I found these! A couple of the customer reviews from their site stated that they were "poor quality" and "ill-fitting". I don't find that to be the case at all....as a matter of fact, they are now sold out online. As far as the quality part, my thinking is that the person who left the comment may think that because they were called "jeans," and are constructed of light weight cotton (more like pants than jeans), that they are poor quality. The material works very well for me personally, as I always seek out lighter weight jeans for the spring and summer. I also do not find them to be ill-fitting....quite the contrary, believe you me, I tried on many a pair prior to this purchase, and these fit me better than some of the more expensive brands. The sweater is the same Old Navy sweater as the other....I've worn it with the jeans and it looks great together! It's become one of my favorite looks.

I also purchased this open weave sweater from Penney's, and look forward to wearing it with the fuschia jeans. I love the jeans so well that I'm going to check the local stores this weekend for a pair in cobalt blue.
