Men's Fashion: The Blazer that feels like a Shirt

Oxford shirts get shelved in the summer, but not oxford-cloth jackets. This deconstructed specimen by Lorenzini comes in washed blue, making it the ideal top layer over a trusty knit polo.

If a khaki suit seems like advanced fashion, start with a rumpled khaki blazer instead. Because it's as light in weight as it is in color, darker accompaniments like gray jeans and a blue striped henley are best.

Prada's unstructured nylon blazer is the kind of item that can be worn through a rainstorm and look better for it. Pair it with something equally versatile, like well-worn jeans.
Blazer ($820) by Prada, Prada.com; Shirt ($465), tie ($210) and Pocket Square ($110) by Brunello Cucinelli, 212-627-9202; jeans ($98) by Levi's; Belt ($325) by Giorgio Armani, 212-988-9191.

Nice looks.....I've always loved a blazer with jeans.
