Isabel, Oh Isabel

Featured are a few of my favorites from Isabel Toldeo's new collection for Payless. I love the retro vibe of the patent "flat forms," and the platform espadrille. Of the Latter, the striped pair would be my choice. I have visions of basking in the sun on the French Riviera, or some equally "chic" destination. Ahhhhhhhh.........

Readers' Choice: Coolest Collaboration

With a whopping 44 percent of survey votes, H&M and Jimmy Choo had the most inspired collaboration of 2009. From the moment the companies announced they would work together, anticipation began building. Finally, it reached its culmination on Nov. 14, when Choo fans bought out the stores’ offerings of shoes, accessories and apparel. But they weren’t the only companies to team up. Target and Anna Sui (with 24 percent of votes) debuted a fall collection inspired by “Gossip Girl,” and Payless ShoeSource (nabbing 10 percent of votes) recognized the power of “Project Runway” by signing season four winner Christian Siriano as its newest guest designer. Style Icon Iris Apfel and beautiful actress Dorothy Dandridge

This blog is dedicated to unique jewelry and fashion. I will showcase, not only my one-of-a-kind jewelry designs, but other pieces that I find interesting. I am a lover and collector of vintage jewelry which I will also include. I just had to add a picture of Iris Apfel, as she is, to me, a force to be reckoned with and the epitome of style. She has definitely carved out her own niche when it comes to fashion. The black and white picture of sultry, sexy, Dorothy Dandridge speaks for itself. I also had to add a picture of Joan Crawford. Definitely one of the great actresses and one of my favorites.
