The name and the face are equally recognizable, as a photographer's favorite among the "street style stars." First it was shoes, then jewelry, and now a line of chic pieces for Nordstrom. Read on for about this affordable collection.
By now you’re probably familiar with the name Olivia Palermo, a woman whose chic street style maneuvers have made her a fixture on the front row. Turns out, the 29-year-old New Yorker has designs for your closet, too: On February 8, she’ll debut a collaboration with Nordstrom’s in-house label Chelsea28, just in time for New York Fashion Week. “It was important to start with life pieces, as I call them,” says Palermo. “Taking a great navy wide-leg pant, for example, and being able to restyle it.”
The Olivia Palermo + Chelsea28 collection is comprised of 32 moving parts that cover just about every aspect of a working wardrobe: boho dresses to hold sway in the city, menswear-inspired oxford shirting, and stylish everyday jeans that are easily dressed up at a moment’s notice. “Denim is such an important part of one’s wardrobe,” says Palermo, whose collection includes a tailored denim jumpsuit and midi skirt. “It’s important to understand what a girl wants. And Nordstrom has a similar take on the New York woman—she’s a woman on a mission who knows what she’s looking for.”
And since Palermo has a knack for mixing high and low fashion, she was eager to make sure the clothes were attainable for all her fans, too: The opening price point of the collection is surprisingly affordable—just $68. So can we expect to see more from Palermo and the Seattle retail giant in the future? “It’s a learning process,” she says. “We’re just getting into the groove of working together, and I’m looking forward to the response!”

First Look at Olivia's Shoes for Aquazzura
It's no secret that Olivia Palermo is one of my favorite "street style stars."
When I heard about the collaboration with Aquazzura, I was sure that the pairing would spawn a collection just as chic and stylish as Olivia herself.
Olivia Palermo is one of those girls you'll never catch looking disheveled: From her chic cocktail attire to her put-together street style, Palermo's fashion is never not on point. So, when we heard the 28-year-old would be collaborating with Aquazzura on a 12-piece capsule collection, we were more than a little bit excited to see what would come of it. Though we'll have to wait until September to get our hands on the shoes—they'll be available in select Aquazzura and online at Net-a-Porter—the first images are here:

Olivia Palermo and the Summer Print
As I've said before, Olivia Palermo is one of my favorite "women of style." I love the way that she remixes pieces so that they look fresh and new each time that she wears them. Read on for more from ELLE.
Olivia Palermo models for Tibi, attends dozens of fashion shows each season, and even vacations on Valentino's personal yacht. She's gifted amazing clothing every day and can borrow pretty much anything she wants to wear—but over the past few days, that's meant the same thing, over and over: windowpane checks. On Monday, she stepped out in New York City wearing a windowpane top with black pants; yesterday, she wore the top again with windowpane print shorts, then swapped out the top for a striped one but kept wearing the shorts for nighttime. That makes three different outfits in just two days, each centered around a windowpane check. Considering how often Olivia is a litmus test for the next major fashion trend, we'd bet this one's going to be big. Really big.

About Olivia.........
As 2012 comes to close, we're innundated with various end-of-the-year lists. The most popular among those is usually "The Best Dressed." My choice, as well as some others, is the perpetually chic Olivia Palermo. Prior to a couple of days ago, I actually had no clue that she was a socialite and former cast member of The City (I don't watch reality shows, so I'd never heard of it), in addition to being a model. I was always so taken with her style, that I didn't usually read anything associated with her various pictures, other than the particular designer that she was wearing.
She's among that rare breed who ALWAYS looks good. Whether she's walking her dog or attending a social event, she's sure to turn heads. I love the fact she mixes prints, textures, and colors with perfection. I've featured some of my favorites, of her many looks.
