Greater L.A. is upping the ante. The Los Angeles-based brand, which manufactures its footwear in California, is bowing a higher-end Violet Tash line for fall ’10. The collection debuted with a capsule spring collection in December and is spinning out into a fuller collection of flats, wedges, booties and thigh-high boots for fall. Featuring wooden platforms and painted heels, the 80-style collection is being targeted at independent boutiques and set to retail between $100 and $200.

Rainy Days
Guess makes sure a girl is covered on a rainy day as they launch their new line of Wellies for fall 2010. Guess’ Wellies are constructed of one-piece rubber molds making them waterproof and leak-free. The Wellies will come in three different prints: a Guess logo, bright leopard print and a version with hardware embellishment. Set to retail at $69, Guess’s Wellies will be available at Guess retail stores and Macy’s.

Guess Does Retrospective Exhibition

GUESS celebrates new flagship store and incredible brand history with Photographic Retrospective

To celebrate the UK expansion and the launch of a flagship store of Regent Street, GUESS is holding a Photographic Retrospective, showcasing iconic images from the brand's historic ad campaigns.

The event, named Wonder, Passion, Freedom: A Photographic Retrospective, will feature a collection of stunning black and white eye-catching moving images that chronicle GUESS through their 28-year history.

All of the brand's most famous faces, from Claudia Schiffer and Naomi Campbell, to Eva Herzigova and Drew Barrymore, will be on show at Il Bottacio on Hyde Park Corner from October 29 to 2 November.

All visitors will be given a specially designed GUESS jeans button and entry in a competition to win a pair of Beverly jeans at the new store on Regent Street (which is amazing by the way).
