Street Style: Shanghai

Alter, the Shanghai multibrand boutique, recently held a big sale event that attracted some of the city’s most stylish citizens. Bracing for the winter chill, layering was key and incorporated tailored jackets, fur coats, scarves and pattered sweaters. Meanwhile, another December event in the city drew an equally fashionable crowd when the Chinese edition of Surface magazine and Max Mara hosted an opening party for a fashion photography exhibition. There, Shanghai’s fashionable set turned up in plenty of black, with a few refreshing bursts of brights for good cheer.
