Trends: The Playsuit

I'm really loving the playsuit! It conjures up visions of those oh so fashionable ladies of the 40s and 50s lounging poolside. So versatile is the design, that many can be dressed up or down. For a cool evening, I would choose Haute Hippie (last pic., it's so...sexy!), for a sultry summer evening, I would go with Max Azria or bottega Veneta ( 15. & 16.). The latter would prove perfect for a night of dancing....just add platforms, chandelier earrings and a clutch.

For a day of shopping, lunch with friends, or perhaps a cookout, I like Michelle Mason (pic. 7...with flats), and Juicy couture's washed silk version (pic. 12). See by Chloe's offering (pic. 14) is also a favorite....the design is so unique. It's one of those pieces that lends itself to a great deal of wear....perfect for cool spring days, or nights if you please.

The playsuit has now been added to my list of "things to buy."
