Missoni Cruise 2011
Angela Missoni described her collection as “strong, with lots of character and color.” Indeed, the house’s patterns were super graphic and bold, inspired by Africa in the way of motifs and color combinations, while the shapes — long halter dresses, plain shifts and elongated cardigans over T-shirts and pants — took their cue from the swinging Sixties. Topping off the mood were stacks of colorful printed bangles, summery hats and bandanas.

It's not enough to say that I love this collection.....I envision myself in each and every piece! Missoni has long been known for their "modern," graphic and abstract prints, but this is, in my opinion, one of their best collections to date. Bursting with color and dazzling prints, with that retro vibe, resulting in pieces that are at once appealing and exciting. If I had the opportunity to fill my closet with all of the looks featured, I would take them just as they appear here, accessories and all, for everyday wear. So very refreshing!
