Vivienne Westwood Opens All-Male Store
A few doors down from 44 Conduit Street, the classic retail home of Vivienne Westwood, there is now a Westwood MAN store! Cue joyful screams. For far too long the male Westwood shopper has been forced to venture down the stairs to the cellar of No. 44, but with last week's shop launch, dedicated male customers can now spread out to fully enjoy themselves. The shop - at 18 Conduit Street - have the textural qualities of stone, ‘shuttered’ concrete, rusted steel and wide oak boards as flooring. Nickel-plated rails and cabinets will provide a crisp contrast to this earthy tone. With the MAN logo taking its inspiration from Stonehenge, the new Westwood shop is bound to enjoy an equally long and prosperous history and legacy. Another distinctive element of the location is the creation of the glass covered ‘Crypt’. Previously an underground vault, this barrel-shaped chamber has been transformed into a unique display space within the floor. Just what to be expected from a Dame such as Vivienne Westwood.

Love the store's design.....such an inviting space. Of course the products are nothing less than superb......the tooled leather bags in the last picture are phenomenal.
