Sure Lanvin and Pierre Hardy have done high-tops - very successfully we might add - and the trend has gone global for spring. But we really didn't expect the uber-glam Jimmy Choo to be stripped of its 5 inch heels and compete with the urban gang.
Along with towering snakeskin sandals and red carpet stilettos, Choo's pre-fall 2010 collection has the addition of 8 sneakers. The low (£295) and high-top (£395) suede and snake trainers bring Choo's reputation for staggering heights down to earth with a bump. We predict them to be the favourite down-time footwear of fashion editors.
The flat shoe trend of last season has become the high-top trainer trend for spring.

Interesting.
